一、feasible、viable 是同义词，都表示“可行的”，在科技论文写作中常用，它们的用法：
（1）都可以形容名词：
a technically （economically ）feasible/viable plan（design, arrangement, architecture, deployment……）
（2）sth. is feasible/viable
例如：
To build a bridge across the bay is both technically and economically feasible/viable.
（修一座跨海湾大桥在技术上和经济上都可行。）
（3）It is feasible/viable to do sth.
It is feasible that ……
但是没有It is viable that
例如：
It would be feasible/viable to enhance the security of user authentication by using techniques of public key cryptography.
（通过公钥密码学技术增强用户认证的安全性是可行的。）
It is feasible that both teams share the same lab.
（两个团队共享同一个实验室是可行的。）
It’s feasible that we increase the bandwidth of the network by 50% in two years.
（两年以后我们把网络带宽增加百分之五十是可行的。）
二、feasible 和viable 都有反义词：unfeasible、unviable ，但不常用，需要表达“不可行”时可以用not feasible 或not viable。
三、名词feasibility 在写作中可用，例如：
In the following, we will study/investigate the feasibility that we integrate two protocols into a single module for achieving convenience of maintenance.
（下面我们将研究为了维护便利把两个协议集成为一个模块的可行性。）
四、前一篇文章中提到“合理可行的”应该翻译为feasible/viable ，但没有详细解释，这里展开讨论一下。
