一、在cause、bring about、lead to、result in和result from 中：
cause一般指引起坏的结果；
bring about可以指引起好的、或坏的结果；
lead to、result in主要指引起（导致）坏的结果，有时也可以指引起中性、或好的结果；
result from多指一个坏结果由什么引起，也可用于一个好结果由什么引起。
二、除result from 外，这些expressions 的用法比较简单，有下列两种：
to cause/bring about/lead to/ result in a bad result (consequence problem error shortage deficit ……)
或者：
to be caused/to be brought about
例句：
In deep learning, insufficient data would cause/bring about/lead to/result in overfitting.（在深度学习中，数据不足会引起过拟合。）
Not every effort brings about/lead to/results in a desired outcome. （并不是那个努力都能导致（产生）想要的结果。）

三、表达“引起”还有其他方式，例如raise, arise，用法比较简单，不再叙述。
